Transborder site, leaned with the Spanish canyons of Anisclo, Pineta and of mythical Ordesa, the territory of Gavarnie-Gèdre belongs to  the “Pyrénées Mont-Perdu" site, country of circuses and canyons”, recognized like World heritage by UNESCO, as a natural landscape and a cultural landscape.
