The S.N.S.M. was born from union of two companies previously
founded in the nineteenth century
the S.N.S.M. counts 232 stations of rescue. The Sea Rescuers must rescueany people in danger at sea.
In 2004 in more than 5.000 interventions, 10.000 persons were rescued.
