Canal du Midi
Built under the reign of Louis The Fourteenth, the canal du Midi (Midi waterway) is the oldest channel of Europe still operative.
The waterway, imagined by engineer Pierre-Paul Riquet, is made of remarkable works which give it an exceptional patrimonial interest. Unesco has
decided to classify the canal du Midi among the 469 sites of the World Heritage list. Music played by the "Oc" band.
